Trying on art for size at Rye
A DARING new exhibition at Rye Art Gallery holds the iconic t-shirt up as art.
The exhibition T-’s Made is running at the gallery, in Rye High Street, until May 25.
Sarah Money, from the gallery, said: “A number of well known and respected artists have been invited to join us in this exciting exhibition showing their interpretations of the T shirt. These could be actual T-shirts but also in paper clay, glass or whatever has inspired the artist.
“Continuing with the T theme we will have an amazing selection of weird and wonderful Tea pots.”
The Gallery is open daily but closed Tuesdays.
