NEARLY 100 party-goers attended a 1970s and 80s retro disco night to raise funds for St Barnabas House hospice.

The evening, at Worthing’s St Paul’s Centre, was organised by Josie and Andy Kelly, who have recently started up a new events and wedding planning business in Worthing, called Funkylush Events.

Many of the party-goers were in fancy dress, including ’70s rockers Kiss, The Scooby Doo gang, Boy George and Freddie Mercury.

A grand total of £761.40 was raised for St Barnabas House through ticket sales, auction items and a raffle.

Josie and Kelly said they were very grateful to all the people and organisations that made this possible.

And as the evening was such a success, there are already plans to organise a Retro Night II event next year.
