"The work by Cancer Research is very important as this disease touches so many people. I am glad to have helped out in some way."

Relay for Life is a 24-hour event in Hastings which celebrates those who have beaten cancer and remember those who've been lost to the disease. In its second year, Cancer Research is inviting people to take part in teams of 8-15 friends to hop skip and jump around the track at William Parker School this September. Teams fund raise throughout the year with all proceeds going towards the charity, with the event being the culmination of everyone's efforts.
