Two arrested after pub attack
TWO men were arrested following an assault in the garden of the Tally Ho pub on the Landport Estate.
Police said an argument broke out in the garden at around 11pm when a man was attacked by two men.
Customers were celebrating the landlord's 60th birthday on August 26 and a number came to the aid of the victim and restrained the two men who attacked him.
The victim suffered a black eye, bruising and cuts to his face.
The arrested men were released on bail pending further investigations.
