Two given first aid after fire in Burgess Hill flat
Two people required first aid following a fire in a flat in Burgess Hill yesterday (Wednesday November 27).
Firefighters were called to the flats, in The Brow, at around 9.40am.
The small fire involved unattended cooking in the first floor sheltered accommodation flat.
The elderly female occupier and female volunteer were treated onsite for smoke inhalation by ambulance paramedics.
