Coffee Mornings: As our Macmillan Coffee Morning will be on Saturday this year, next Friday (September 26) you may like to add your additional support to this hugely important charity by also attending the Ferry Road (Rye) coffee morning between 10am and noon at the Clinic. In any case, please do support our big Udimore event the following day (September 27). In the Hall between 10am and noon, besides coffee and other refreshments, there will also be scope for plenty of really good shopping: home-grown produce from local gardens, home-made cakes, jams, preserves etc, and hand-made decorative and useful items, many produced by members of the Craft and Chatter Group. Your support will be very much appreciated, especially if as well as Buying you also Bring along some contributions of your own for sale. Donations of prizes for the Big Raffle will be very gratefully received as well. This is always a very enjoyable social occasion too: be sure not to miss it!

Harvest Supper: Our Udimore supper will be held in the Hall in two weeks’ time, on Friday evening, October 3. Tickets cost a very reasonable £8 and can be purchased from Ann Barker (by calling at Stocks Oast or ringing 01424 883515). Please make sure of your tickets soon they tend to sell pretty quickly.
