Unwanted travellers spotted in Chichester

Three caravans and another vehicle were seen on land near New Park Lane earlier today.
A spokesperson for Chichester District Council said: “A group of travellers have moved onto our land, close to New Park road.

Hide Ad“We are working with West Sussex County Council to resolve this as soon as possible under our new agreement to work together on unauthorised encampments.”
It is unknown whether the travellers are the same group recently evicted from Chichester College grounds.
