UPDATE: 60-year-old man hurt in Burwash Common car crash

A man in his 60s and a woman were hurt following a car crash just outside of Burwash Common this morning (Thursday, November 12).

The man suffered chest pains and the woman injured her hand but both declined hospital treatment after the incident on Burwash Road at around 9am.

A third patient was given health advice by South East Coast Ambulance Service who sent one ambulance and two cars to the scene.

An Audi, a Ford Ka and a Peugeot were involved in the crash just outside Petal for Plants garden centre.

The road was blocked for a while but was clear by 10.25am.
