UPDATE: Chichester bypass reopens after car overturns and sets on fire

The A27 Chichester bypass has reopened but there are still reports of delays following an accident this morning.

Emergency services were called at around 9.50am on Monday, August 10, to the Bognor Bridge roundabout to a car which had overturned and then set on fire, police said.

No one was trapped but at least one person was treated for minor injuries.

The eastbound carriageway was blocked and although the road has now reopened, there could still be long delays.
