A picture from the scene shows one of the vehicles involved in the crash was a paramedic’s car, however the driver of that vehicle appears to be unhurt.

The driver of the other dark-blue car was trapped in the vehicle and is being treated at the scene.

Ambulance crews, fire and rescue crews and police are all at the scene at the moment.

The A259 has been closed from the Drayton Roundabout to the junction with Chalcraft Lane and traffic is being diverted.
