UPDATE: Teenage motorcyclist injured in late-night car crash on A259 in Bexhill

A teenage motorcyclist fractured his arm and ended up in hospital after a crash with a car on the A259 in Bexhill last night (Wednesday, May 26).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews and South East Coast Ambulance Service were sent to the crash opposite the McDonalds at Ravenside Retail Park at around 11.30pm.

No one was trapped but the 19-year-old man was injured in the crash, suffering from arm fractures.

He was fully conscious but was given pain relief and treated at the scene before being taken to the Conquest Hospital for further checks and treatment.

Firefighters used an environmental pack to make the area safe for the public.
