UPDATE: Two men to appear in court after Ford police chase


Officers had been investigated a suspected burglary at a property in High Salvington, Worthing, when the chase was prompted.
The incident left Ford’s level crossing, in Ford Lane, damaged when a car drove through it.

Hide AdFollowing yesterday’s drama, police have announced that Billy Way, 25, a fence erector, of no fixed address in the Portsmouth area, has been charged with burglary dwelling and theft.
Andrew Smith, 29, a labourer of Leominster Road, Portsmouth, has been charged with burglary dwelling and theft, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court later today.
A 30-year-old man from the Portsmouth area was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling with intent to steal and has been bailed to June 1.
