Veolia fundraising

Almost £700 was raised for Children In Need by site users and staff at East Sussex and Brighton & Hove household waste recycling sites.

This is the fifth year that Veolia Environmental Services, which manages the sites in partnership with East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council, has supported the charity - during which time a grand total of over 13,000 has been raised.

Over the years, the 14 recycling sites and Veolia staff have raised money in a number of ways, including fancy dress, tombolas, raffles and bric-a-brac sales.
