Councillor Paul Dendle, cabinet member for the environment, said: “As a local authority, we continue to support those affected by the bad weather earlier this year.

“I repeat my call for all residents and businesses affected by the recent floods to register their interest online by Friday, May 2, by filling in the simple eform on the Arun District Council website.

“Our aim is to help, advise and support during the whole process and to inform on the next stage as quickly as possible, within a couple of weeks of May 2 deadline.”
