VIDEO: Car stolen from Angmering slams into a house
The Audi TT was left embedded in the front of a home in Portslade, following the crash yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, January 4).
The car had been reported stolen from Meadowside, in Angmering two days before, at 5pm on Sunday, and was spotted by patrolling officers which prompted the chase.

Hide AdOfficers were looking for the vehicle when it crashed. Sussex Police announced that the circumstances of the collision are being investigated.
Following the crash, two men got out of the vehicle and ran away.
A 23-year-old man who was trapped in the car and released by firefighters, suffering only minor injuries, was arrested on suspicion of stealing a car.
A second male, a 17-year-old, who was one of those who fled the vehicle after it ploughed into the house, was captured and arrested on suspicion of stealing a car, failing to stop and resisting arrest.
However, a manhunt still continues for the third suspect.

Hide AdThe shocked occupants of the house, in Valley Road, were sitting in their living room when the sportscar drove through their front wall.
Miraculously none of the occupants were injured in the collision.
Engineers are still assessing the scale of damage inflicted upon the property, which is deemed unsafe.
The car has since been extracted from the property.
The crash and the force’s involvement in the chase have now been referred to the police watchdog, the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
