VIDEO: Council leader’s round-up of ‘lively’ meeting
DIFFICULTIES in meeting house-building targets and the reality of council budget cuts were interesting debates at the joint strategic committee of Adur and Worthing councils last night (Thursday, July 4).
Councillors heard how budgets were being cut as a result of the recent government spending review, and praised community gardening initiatives for helping in tough financial times.
