The male crossbreed is keen to learn and would suit an owner who enjoys training and teaching new things.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “He can sit, lie down and give paw. He is a super smart chap looking for a quiet home with teens aged 16-plus.

“Jasper can be shy around new people but once he is comfortable with you he becomes very affectionate and really enjoys a back scratch.

“Jasper is very playful with his toys. He will throw them to you time and time again for you to join in with the game, which is a lot of fun and an excellent way to bond.”

Jasper need a large enclosed garden with room for a good run around.

Tracey added: “He would like to be the only pet in his new home and will need quiet walking areas where there are not lots of dogs running around. Ideally, grassy and open walking areas would be better than along roadsides.

“He travels well in the car and would enjoy drives to his walking areas.”

Jasper forms strong attachments and would want plenty of time to settle in at home before being left alone.
