VIDEO: Fire at Selsey pub

TWO floors of the Fishermans Joy pub in Selsey have been severely damaged by fire today (Thursday, January 28).

Firefighters from Selsey, Bognor, Chichester, East Wittering, Bosham, Littlehampton and Shoreham, were called out to the blaze shortly after 2am this morning.

Approximately 75 per cent of the ground floor of the pub at the corner of Manor Road and East Street, has been damaged by fire, heat and smoke, and 30 per cent of the first floor has been damaged.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera during two-hour battle with the blaze.

The incident is believed to be arson.
