VIDEO: New bank opens in Horsham town centre

Customers, bank staff and the chairman of Horsham District Council welcomed the grand opening in West Street at 12 noon.

TSB was relaunched as a standalone brand 18 years after disappearing when it merged with Lloyds.

A busker hired by the bank’s staff played outside its doors for its opening.

Lizzie Smith, 33, the branch’s bank manager, a life-long Horsham resident, said: “I’m really excited to bring TSB to Horsham’s community.”

And Philip Circus (Con, Chanctonbury) chairman of Horsham District Council, who officially opened Horsham’s TSB, said: “Sometimes we take banks for granted but they are such an essential part of making the community and individuals’ lives work so I don’t have any reservations in applauding the banks and this bank in particular and wishing it well on behalf of all the residents of Horsham and the district.”
