LOCAL Newspaper Week kicks-off from today (Monday, May 12) and as part of the national campaign the Gazette is taking the opportunity to highlight the vital role of local charity fundraisers.

Thousands of pounds are raised every year by willing volunteers who take part in all kinds of activities, raising much needed cash for those less fortunate.

As part of our Making a Difference promotion, we feature in our video the amazing efforts of The Littlehampton Food Bank which has helped hundreds of needy families in financial crisis.

The bank has been based at the Littlehampton Baptist Church, in Fitzalan Road, since November.
