VIDEO: Taxi driver dies in Aldwick crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road accident in Aldwick.

The accident happened about 2.30pm on Saturday, July 21.

The grey Skoda Octavia entered The Martletts roundabout at the end of West Mead Drive where it mounted the reservation and collided with trees.

Sadly the driver, taxi driver Mark Pittwood, 54, of Gilwynes, Aldwick died at the scene.

Police are investigating and appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Pershore.
