VIDEO: Testing out the Melbourne Grand Prix circuit
Lets Race, located in Horley, West Sussex, allows people to experience just what it is like to be a professional driver.
Ten Formula One racing simulators are positioned in one room complete with cockpit and driving positions.

There are also more than 20 circuits to choose from including Monaco, Bahrain and Silverstone.
It is quite a surreal experience and also a little challenging.
I’m not sure my fastest lap speed of one minute and 52 seconds – 30 seconds slower than the fastest – is going to worry too many Formula One drivers.

If you fancy giving it a go then just make sure you hit that brake or, like me, you will be left spinning in the grass.
Before you take your seat on the grid, a helpful member of staff from Lets Race will give you some tips on how to clock up the best lap speed.
You are then given 15 minutes to practice and get used to the track, the throttle and, most importantly, the brake.
After that, well it’s race time.
