Police and firefighters were called just after 9pm, to a fire at the former BLOC Social Club, which has been closed for two years.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent four fire engines to the scene, as well as an aerial ladder platform, and said the fire was in the ground floor of the three-storey building.
