The Goring Road Runners’ race, which traditionally takes place on New Year’s Day, had to be postponed back in January owing to the prolonged bad weather which caused nationwide flooding.
But runners turned out in force on Sunday for the West Sussex Fun Run League event starting at Hill Barn Recreation Ground, ahead of a tough five-mile off-road trek up Cissbury Ring and back.
