Village Easter fair boosts hall funds

VILLAGERS rallied round to support the Easter Fair at Three Oaks Village Hall on Saturday,

Joan Colegate, from the hall committee, said: “It was a great effort as the railway bridge is still closed and there are road closed signs everywhere at the moment.

“The bridge closure has effectively cut the village in two but we still managed to raised £230 for hall funds.”

Attractions at the fair included bowling for a chicken, an Easter egg hunt, a tombola and a competition to name the Easter Bunny.
