Village school needs more attractions and stalls for fete

Upper Beeding Primary School is asking residents and local businesses to step forward and help take part in this year’s summer fete.

Friends of Upper Beeding School (FUBS) will be holding the Summer Village Community Fete on Saturday June 22.

The event will include lots of fun and games, arena events and displays, vintage vehicles, birds of prey, refreshments with beer tent, and a dog show. In the evening there will be live music, hot food and a beer tent.

Guest ales from Dark Star Brewery, burgers and hog roast from Steyning Butchers with cream teas and curry will also be on offer.

The fete will open from 11am to 4pm before the festivities begin again in the evening, starting with the kids karaoke at 6pm prior to the live music.
