War stories told at lunch of Littlehampton’s Royal Naval Association

WAR stories and tasty food were the order of the day for members of Littlehampton’s Royal Naval Association.

A total of 26 people enjoyed the organisation’s annual lunch, at the Arun View pub/restaurant, in Wharf Road, Littlehampton.

They relived old war stories during the event, which took place last Tuesday. Spokesman John French said: “The ship’s lantern was well and truly swung, remembering military exploits. We were all made to feel very welcome and the food was very much enjoyed by everyone.”
