Work on Saturday and Sunday will be carried out between 10pm and 5.30am.

Crews will be pumping a strengthening material beneath the carriageway surface for first three hours of each night shift.

After this, road users may not see any work taking place, but the three lanes will remain closed until 5.30am (6am on Saturday morning) to enable the material to harden correctly.

Highways England and its contractors will be monitoring the work and will reopen the lanes as soon as it safe to do so.
