Two fire crews were called to a flat fire in Church Road at 6.21pm yesterday (April 24), following reports of a fire within an electrical intake.

No action was taken by crews and the incident was left in the hands of UK Power Networks, as the fire was out on arrival, but East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has issued guidance on keeping electrics safe.
