Washington landfill campaigners' protest

CAMPAIGNERS against plans for a landfill site in Washington are to stage a peaceful protest outside the county council offices.

The protest will take place from 9.30am outside County Hall in West Street, Chichester, on Tuesday, February 10, against proposals for a landfill site at Rock Common.

A free coach is leaving Washington Rec at 8.30am and returning at 12.30pm.
