Gusting winds, rain but also sunshine for Horsham district

Anyone hoping for the permanent arrival of sunny summer weather will have to wait a while longer in the Horsham district.

The Met Office forecast for the next few days is for changeable weather with temperatures in the mid-teens.

Tomorrow (Friday June 14) will be mostly cloudy with a high of 16degC. Today’s gusting winds should decrease overnight but pick up again around lunchtime for a few hours.

After heavy overnight showers, Saturday could be the best day with plenty of sunny intervals, but with gusting winds up to 40mph.

The wind is set to drop completely by Sunday - however, plenty of rain is forecast.

The wind and rain should disappear by Monday with sunshine taking its place.

The long-range forecast continues to see changeable weather with rain and periods of sunshine.
