Horsham town residents wake up to their first snow of 2015

Although there were a few flakes that fell on Thursday evening, today’s light covering was the first to stay any length of time.

Areas around Horsham, such as Crawley and the South Downs saw snow showers last week but Horsham had stayed remarkably free.

However, the snow is already disappearing as light and heavy rain showers are predicted for the rest of the day.

Another light snow shower is forecast for early Sunday morning during what is expected to be an overcast day.
