Moon halo lights up skies over Horsham district

A dramatic moon halo was clearly visible across the Horsham district last night (Monday February 2).

A moon halo (or ring) is created wehn sunlight passes through ice crystals in the earth’s atmosphere.

Those braving the freezing temperatures last night were treated to the impressive sight.
