The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the Sussex coast on Friday from midnight to 5pm.
Wind speeds of 50-60mph are expected but gusts could reach up to 70mph on the south coast.
A spokesperson for the National Trust said: “We advise that visitors stay well away from the cliffs and beach during storm periods.”
