Warmer weather on the way for Horsham district

Much warmer weather is on the way for the Horsham District - but not for another week or so.

The Met Office says that by mid April temperatures should recover to near average for the time of year.

Until then it will become very gradually warmer, with Saturday (April 6) up to 8degC.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday could see some sleet showers and the evenings will be very cold.

There will also be gusting winds between 30 - 40mph which will make it feel even colder.

However, the winds will subside and the temperature rise.

Heavy rain might arrive on Monday (April 8) but the trend will be for a return to average weather conditions for the time of year.
