Weekly plans list includes Angmering Library repairs

Angmering Parish Council announced just over a year ago that it had approached West Sussex County Council about the possibility of taking over the library, in Arundel Road, which also houses the Angmering Children and Family Centre.

No decisions have yet been taken about the building, which was previously the William Older School, but an inspection revealed essential maintenance work would have to be carried out and plans have now been submitted to Arun District Council.

ANGMERING: listed building consent application to renew the slate roof coverings, replace cast iron rainwater goods and redecorate the exterior, with minor brick repairs, Angmering Library, Arundel Road.

Rear extension and front porch extension, Church View, 1 Cottrell Close.

ARUNDEL: various replacement externally- and internally-illuminated signage and lighting to front and side elevations, Swan Hotel, 27/29 High Street.

Renewal of unimplemented planning permission AB/70/09 for change of use of veterinary office and treatment room to a house, Arundel Equine Hospital, Tortington Lane. Re-advertisement, due to amended description.

LITTLEHAMPTON: fitting of external wall insulation, Marden House and Heo Green.

Application for a minor material amendment to previously approved planning permission LU/271/11 for revision to the petrol filling station layout, The Wick Site (former Body Shop HQ), Hawthorn Road.

RUSTINGTON: replace six shipping containers used for storage with an industrial storage building, Stuart Jones Ltd, 1 Artex Avenue. Re-advertisement, due to amended form and description.
