West Sussex charity launches Christmas appeal in Worthing
AN appeal has been made for people to think of the plight of orphans and vulnerable children around the world when shopping for their Christmas presents.
Roger Fenton, who organises teams of volunteers across West Sussex, is once again running the popular shoebox campaign.
He said: “Our aim is to work with Worthing schools, churches, community groups, businesses and individual members of the public to make sure that every single shoebox they donate goes to a child living in very difficult circumstances.”
