Westfield FC nurtures young footballing talent

WESTFIELD Football Club’s Summer Coaching Session saw more than 45 children of all ages taking part. The two-day coaching session at the team’s home ground in Westfield was an action-packed, goal-scoring, sole-tapping couple of days.

Dan Stratford, from the club, said: “The coaching days were a great opportunity to get children involved in sport, develop skills and have an enormous amount of fun.”

There are a few more coaching days planned throughout the summer holidays.

The club is offering a one week coaching course from Monday 18 to Friday 22 August, 9.30am-2pm at £12 per day or £50 for five days.

Westfield FC is also offering a two-day course on Monday 1 to Tuesday 2 September, 9.30am-2pm at £12 per day or £20 for two days.
