HELLO: an uneventful week this week apart from Storm Imogen which created a little inconvenience blowing over trees and causing power cuts. Don't forget to let me have any village news so I can include it in the column.

PARISH CHURCH : Next Sunday’s church service at Whatlington will be the usual Parish Communion at 09.30 with our own Vicar, Kevin Mepham.

Last Sunday following our All Age Service we had our annual Church Meal, this year at Leeford Place Hotel, just opposite the church, although numbers were down slightly due to some people being away, we all enjoyed an excellent meal with good fellowship.
