Whatlington
Church News: The Evensong for St. George held at Whatlington on Sunday 26th was a great success. We were joined by the choir from Sedlescombe and enjoyed a lovely Sung Evensong, Book of Common Prayer, with four rousing hymns and an excellent sermon from Kevin telling us all about St. George and his relevance to us today as a worthwhile Patron Saint for England.
After the service everyone stayed to enjoy a glass of wine and some nibbles, together with good company!
Next Sunday, May 3rd we revert to our normal 09.30 service, then the following week we shall have the All Age Service at 10.30am.
