Why Snowy is a real Treasure!

A year ago the Observer told of the antics of Snowy, the hen with a personality crisis.

Then her speciality was bare-back riding on Woody the pet pony.

Things have got worse at the Buckholt Cattery in the intervening year.

Snowy, a four year-old brown Warren Cross , has survived fox attacks and other perils only to develop a pantomime season case of Treasure Island-itis.

"She thinks she's a parrot!" says owner Bev Robson.

"She keeps flying over and sitting on my shoulder - she's doing it now!"

Altogether now: "Pieces of Eight...!"
