Morning Worship: The next Communion Service at St Thomas’ Church is this Sunday December 28th at 10.30am. All are invited to this service which marks the occasion of Holy Innocents and will be led by Canon Robin Whitehead.

New Year’s Market: The first Church Market of the New Year is on Saturday January 3rd (2015) as from 10.30am to 12 noon. There will be all the usual delicious home-made and home-grown produce on sale, plus books and plants. Also look forward to starting the year with a good meet-up session over coffee and tea, and proceeds will be gratefully received for church funds. The December Market raised £477.49 so thank you for all your support.

Shared service: A date for your diary is the annual Octave of Prayer combined service on Sunday January 18th at 3pm when the Friends of the Methodist Chapel will be joining with the congregation of St Thomas’ Church. Everybody is welcome to this special event which will be led by Canon Robin Whitehead and there will be light refreshments to follow.

New Website: The website for St Thomas’ and St Richard’s Churches, organised by David Page and the Churchwardens is now active on www.winchelseachurch.co.uk. If you would like information on the history of these churches, local events, arranging marriages and funerals, details are available on this new website.

Morning Worship: St Richard’s Church, Winchelsea Beach, will be open for Parish Eucharist at 9.15am on Sunday December 28th. This is the last Morning Worship for 2014 and the next morning service will commence at the usual time on Sunday January 11th 2015.

Pub 31: You are invited to Dance the Night away with DJ Carl at Winchelsea Beach’s Pub 31’s New Year’s Eve party celebration on Wednesday December 31st. From 8 till late it is farewell to the old and a big welcome in to the New Year.

Evening Prayer: The monthly Evening Prayer service at St Richard’s Church, Winchelsea Beach, will be on Sunday January 4th at 3pm and all are invited. Canon Robin Whitehead will conduct the service which will be followed by tea.

Art & Crafts for Fun: Every Wednesday there is an Art & Crafts group session in the Winchelsea Beach Community Hall from 10am till 12pm. This is an great opportunity for making different items, learning together and developing art skills so do come along and give it a go.
