Winchelsea Beach village voice

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve has organised a walk of three miles to observe the Autumn Migration on the Beach Reserve.

It will involve watching for movements of seabirds, coasting passerines, waders refuelling on the pools and possible some raptors. This will be on Saturday 8th September meeting at Rye Harbour car park at 9 am until 12 noon. Admission is free but donations towards the Reserve would be appreciated.

St Richard’s Church Parish Eucharist is as usual at 9.15 am this Sunday 9th September. The preacher at the service will be Revd. Canon Richard Orchard.

There will be a Mothers’ Prayers group at Rustall, the home of Rachel Fawcett, on The Ridge. The meeting will begin at 10 am on Monday 10th September.
