Winning the shop thieves battle

THE 80th business has signed up to Seaford's shop watch scheme, say police.

The scheme sees people caught stealing from shops banned from all members' premises and allows traders to share information.

Sgt David Kemp, of Seaford police, said: 'Shop crime both in terms of theft and anti-social behaviour continues to fall in Seaford and this is directly attributable to the shop watch scheme.'
