Woman airlifted to hospital after incident on Hastings beach

The Air Ambulance was called to Hastings after an incident on the beach this afternoon (Saturday June 11).

Emergency services were called to the beach near White Rock at around 12.30pm.

Police said a woman was taken ill and required medical attention. She was treated by paramedics at the scene.

She has since been flown to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for further treatment.
