Woman arrested after Littlehampton car crash

A 49-year-old woman has been charged following a three-car crash in a Littlehampton street.

Wyn Ellis, of Fittleworth Gardens, Rustington, was arrested after the red Nissan Micra she was driving crashed into a Citroen Xsara and a Toyota Emina in Southfields Road, Littlehampton, at 12.15am on Tuesday (August 18).

Worthing Hospital, with suspected leg and head injuries, by ambulance.

Ms Ellis, who was also taken to hospital, was charged with failing to provide a breath specimen to a police officer, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving with no insurance and careless driving.

She was released on police bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (August 26).
