Woman in hospital after three car crash

A MOTORIST was taken to hospital following an accident at Telham on Sunday afternoon.

Three cars were involved in the crash just outside Wilmoths Citroen on Hastings Road.

Emergency services raced to the scene just before 1pm.

A woman from Three Oaks, who was driving a white Mini Cooper, was taken to hospital complaining of neck pain.

She was placed in a neck collar and put on a spinal board as a precaution before she was taken by ambulance to the Conquest in Hastings.

A St Leonards man, who was driving a green Land Rover at the time of the crash, suffered head pain, but declined hospital treatment.

A woman and child from Battle, who were travelling in a green Seat Alhambra, were assessed by paramedics at the scene, but also declined hospital treatment.

Police officers were on the scene for about an hour .
