Woman injured in Angmering crash

A woman was injured when a car was in collision with a van in Station Road, Angmering during the rush hour this morning (Friday, July 26).

Both vehicles suffered extensive front-end damage in the crash, which happened at about 8.20am, at the junction with Greenwood Drive.

Normally the road would be busy with traffic at that junction turning into Greenwood Drive for The Angmering School, but with the school holidays starting yesterday, the tailbacks were not as great as they might have been.

The Littlehampton firefighters attending the crash inspected the scene but were not needed otherwise and left police to deal with the incident.
