Woman seriously hurt in crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Sedlescombe which left a woman with serious injuries.

Two cars were involved in the collision on Beech Farm Road at 11.10am on Wednesday.

The collision involved a blue Volkswagen and a red Audi.

Police believe the VW crossed over onto the southbound carriageway and collided with the Audi.

A 28-year-old woman from Sedlescombe was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The other motorist, a 49-year-old man from Kent, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
