Woodgate man's night-time challenge

Nathan Taylor is taking part in his first Grim Challenge Night Terror eight mile run next month.

“The course takes me over rough and wild Army terrain, through freezing water hazards illuminated only by my trusty head torch,” he said.

“It’s going to be quite a challenge. Some of the water hazards are waist deep and there’s also a lot of clay to run over.”

Police constable Nathan, 28, of Woodgate Park, has completed two of the challenges around the undulating grounds of Aldershot Army barracks in daytime in a quickest time of 1hr 17min.

Nathan will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
